Installation & Connection Guide
Preparation before installation:
  • Environmental requirements: Dry, ventilated location away from heat sources (minimum 20cm from engine compartment) and direct sunlight
  • Surface requirements: Must support battery weight (15-20kg for 12V 160AH model)
  • Required tools/materials: Insulated wrench, multimeter, heat shrink tubing, fire-resistant tape, appropriate gauge wiring (10-16mm² copper wire recommended for 160AH)
Electrical Connection Steps
  • Single group use: Connect BMS output terminal (+/-) directly to load; connect BMS input terminal to battery pack (3-4 batteries in series)
  • Multiple group expansion: For higher capacity (e.g., 320AH), connect two 12V batteries in parallel (same model/batch only) with 10A fuse on each branch
  • Grounding: Connect shell to ground via yellow-green wire (grounding resistance ≤4Ω)
  • Polarity marking: Use red for positive, black for negative terminals to prevent reverse connection
Fixation & Protection
  • Secure battery with metal bracket or strap
  • Use shock-absorbing rubber pad (damping coefficient ≥0.3) between bracket and battery
  • Insulate terminal block with heat shrink tubing
  • Protect exposed wires with corrugated tubing
